1. General The intent of this document together with the attached guidance General Arrangement is to describe the technical and functional features of the harbour tug designed to labour tug, push and navigations works as well as fire extinquishing rescue works on areas of ports. The vessel is designed for determinated shore voyage. The vessel will be ready for sea and constructed in accordance with recognised shipbuilding practice and complying with the required Rules and Regulations. The Builder or Customer can reserve the right to adjust the capacity, size and power of the equipment due to the final project elaboration and balance calculations. 2. Classification The ship is build under the survey of Germanischer Lloyd* and obtains the classification: GL X 100 A5 "W" TUG X MC AUT E* /* or similar classification society and obtains similar class 3. General Description The vessel is build according to the General Arrangement Nr. MD101-019.01-01. Vessel is driven by two Z-drive propulsion units with fixed propeller driven by two medium speed diesel units with the engine room located at the middle of wessel. It has one tanktop deck, platform deck, main deck, superstructure deck and bridge deck, double bottom in area of engine room. The accommodation space is arranged at the platform and superstructure deck in the front part of the vessel. 5. Hull The hull and superstructure are of steel welded construction, with frame-spacing 600 mm on whole length of the vessel. The hull is protected with steel fenders in intermedium part and special rubber fenders in end parts of the hull. The hull will be divided by means of three watertight transverse bulkheads into the following compartments: 1. fore peak 2. chainlooker room 3. engine room 4. after peak 6. Equipment for Crew Accommodation will be provided for the total of 6 members of crew. Private, public and some duty rooms will be air conditioned. 8. Main Power Drive The ship's main propelling machinery will consist of two non-reversable, standing, line, four-stroke, medium speed marine diesel engines suitable to burn marine diesel oil each coupled to one four bladed fixedpropeller Z-drive unit. Diameter of propellers 2150 mm in conical gearrings. The maximum continuous output of the engines will be 2 x 1300 kW. 9. Electric Power Production The electric power production will consists of following engines: * 2 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 130 kVA * 1 Pc. harbour and emergency diesel generator set of abt. 49 kVA Supply and distribution systems allows the following options: 400 V/50 Hz AC, 230 V/50 Hz AC and 24 V DC. 10. Modification The modification shall comply with the usual experiences of the Yard, shipbuilding and with the rules of the Classification Society. For the details, which are not specially prescribed in those rules, will be used the standards of ISO and design standards of the Yard.
