1. General The intent of this document together with the attached guidance General Arrangement is to describe the technical and functional features of the platform supply vessel designed to labour transport and auxiliary works as well as fire extinquishing rescue works by off-shore operations. The vessel is designed for unlimited voyage. The vessel will be ready for sea and constructed in accordance with recognized shipbuilding practice and complying with the required Rules and Regulations. The Builder or Customer can reserve the right to adjust the capacity, size and power of the equipment due to the final project elaboration and balance calculations. 2. Classification The ship is build under the survey of Det Norske Veritas* and obtains the classification: DnV X 1A1 Supply Vessel SF, AUTR, E0, ICE C, LFL*, HELDK-SH, CRANE, CLEAN, TMON, PMS, ISM /* or similar classification society and obtains similar class 3. General Description The vessel is built according to the General Arrangement Nr. MD103-019.01-01. Vessel has a diesel-electric drive. The propulsion is realised by two propulsion units with controlled pitch propellers driven by two electromotors through two non-reversible gearboxes. The main drive-engines room is located at the aft of the vessel. The main electricity power of the wessel is covered by three dieselelectric units driven by medium speed diesel engines of performance 3400 kW each. The main engines room is located at the fore part of the vessel. The vessel has in the whole length one tanktop deck , platform deck, main deck, double bottom in area of main engine room. The superstructure with the duty and accomodation spaces and bridge is located in the front part of the vessel. In fore part of the vessel in front of the superstucture is located a platform for helicopter. 5. Hull The hull and superstructure are of steel welded construction, with frame-spacing 650 mm on whole length of the vessel. The hull is protected with steel fenders. The hull will be divided by means watertight and non watertight transverse bulkheads into the following compartments: 1. fore peak 2. bow and azimuth thruster room 3. 1^st engine room 4. cargo tanks and receivers space 5. pumps room 6. 2^nd engine room 7. after peak The deck in the cargo space is protected by hard wood floor. The sides of cargo space are bordered by strong coamings joined to the vessel sides through a gangboard protecting bows. 6. Ships Equipment * 1 electricaly driven bow anchor doublewinch * 2 anchors d`Hone Special * 2 electricaly driven stern purse winches * 9 double bollards * 4 single Panama choks * 3 bow rope rollers * 2 aft rope rollers * 2 hydraulic steering gears with two pumps * 1 bow tunnel thruster with fixed pitch propeller * 1 bow retractable azimuth thruster * 1 stern tunnel thruster with fixed pitch propeller * 1 electrohydraulic boat davit * 1 electrohydraulic deck crane SWL 12.5 t / 12 m * 2 electricaly driven cargo manipulating winches 7. Equipment for Crew Accommodation will be provided for the 12 members of basic crew of the ship in single cabins and 23 members of transferred personal in single, two and four men cabins. Private, public and some duty rooms will be air conditioned. 8. Main Power Drive The ship's main propelling machinery will consist of two asynchronical watercooled electromotors, two non-reversable reduction gears, two four bladed hydraulicaly controled pitch propellers. Diameter of propellers 3400 mm. The maximum continuous output of the electromotors will be 2 x 4500 kW. The main generators will be driven by standing, 8 cylinder, line, four-stroke, medium speed marine diesel engines, in parallel operations, suitable to burn marine diesel oil. Output 3400 kW each. 9. Electric Power Production The electric power production will consists of following engines: * 3 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 4250 kVA * 2 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 130 kVA * 1 Pc. harbour and emergency diesel generator set of abt. 70 kVA Supply and distribution systems allows the following options: 400 V/50 Hz AC, 230 V/50 Hz AC and 24 V DC. 10.
