The vessel is designed for following environmental conditions: Winter -10°C, Sommer +40°C. The machinery and all technical equipment is designed for inland waterway operations. The propulsion machinery consists of two non-reversible 4-stroke marine diesel engines, each driving a rudder propeller thruster with dual (fore and after) propellers. 5. Hull The hull and superstructure are of steel welded construction, with frame-spacing 620 mm on whole length of the vessel. The hull is protected with steel fenders. The hull will be divided by means watertight bulkheads according the rules and non watertight transverse bulkheads see the general arrangement plan. The vessel has a double bottom of height 1400mm from stern to frame 36 and from frame 108 to stem and 400mm between frames 36 and 108. The double bottom is of the cellular type subdivided in tanks and dry compartmens. The hull has longitudinal framing and transverse web framing. Shell plate thickness complies with Class requirements. All decks including those in the superstructure are longitudinally framed and supported by transverse webs. 6. Ships Equipment * 1 electricaly driven combined double anchor/mooring winch * 3 anchors d`Hone Special * stern anchor/mooring winch * number, size of bollards and rollers made in consultation with the owner * 1 bow tunnel thruster with fixed pitch propeller * 2 electrohydraulic boat davits * 1 electricaly driven provision crane SWL 0.5 t / 8,5 m * 2 electricaly driven gangway cranes 7. Accomodation Accommodation will be provided for the 174 passengers in double berths cabins with private WC/shower unit, 74 of standard and 1 of luxury type and 45 members of basic crew in the double berths cabins with WC/shower units each for two cabins, two single cabins for ship captain and hotel manager. The vessel is arranged for twin propulsion. The propulsion machinery consist of two non-reversible four stroke marine diesel engines, each driving a rudder propeller thruster with dual propellers via a cardanic shaft. The maximum continuous rating (MCR) of the diesel engines is 2 x 783 kW. The engines are designed to run on gas oil (MDX). The engines are capable of meeting the currently proposed IMO emission standards as defined by regulation to the International Convetion for the Prevention of Pollution from ships. Diameter of propellers 1400 mm. 9. Electric Power Production To generate electric power two resiliently mounted diesel generator sets of each 400kVA are installed. The generators will be driven by standing, non-reversible water cooled, direct injected, turbo charged four-stroke, medium speed marine diesel engines, in parallel operations. The diesels are designed to run on gas oil (MDX). Output 340 kW each. An emergency diesel generator set is installed. The emergency generator is driven by single acting, four stroke, turbo charged, radiator cooled, marine diesel engine 85kW/1500 rpm. The diesel is designed to run on gas oil (MDX).
