1. General The intent of this document together with the attached guidance General Arrangement is to describe the technical and functional features of the ship designed to carry general cargoes, bulk cargoes, 20´ and 40´ containers. The vessel is designed for unlimited international voyage. The vessel will be ready for sea and constructed in accordance with recognised shipbuilding practice and complying with the required Rules and Regulations. The Builder reserves the right to adjust the capacity, size and power of the equipment due to the final project elaboration and balance calculations. 2. Classification The ship is build under the survey of Germanischer Lloyd and obtains the classification: GL X 100 A5 E G X MC AUT E Equipped for carriage of containers. Equipped for carriage of dangerous goods, SOLAS II-2, Reg.54 Equipped for carriage of heavy cargoes. 3. General Description The vessel is build according to the General Arrangement Nr. MD102-019.01-01. The vessel is driven by a single diesel propulsion unit with the engine room located aft. It has one main deck, forecastle deck, poop deck, boats deck, officers deck, raked stem, transom stern, double skin and double bottom. The accommodation space is arranged at the aft part of the vessel. The cargo area consists of three box shaped, container friendly holds. They are arranged for 4 tiers of containers. 5. Hull The hull will be divided by means of four watertight transverse bulkheads into the following compartments: 1. fore peak 2. bowthruster room 3. first cargo hold with double bottom and water ballast side tanks 4. second cargo hold with double bottom and water ballast side tanks 5. third cargo hold with double bottom and water ballast side tanks 6. engine room 7. after peak 6. Equipment for cargo Hatch covers system: folding panels weathertight. Open girder design, top plate flattop, double drain in cross joints, operated by externally arranged hydraulic cylinders. Loads: 24,5 kN/m2 Container loads:20´- 392 kN/stack in pointload 40´- 490 kN/stack in pointload Cargo hold is ventilated by 6 changes per hour. The vessel is equipped with twenty (20) reefer-plugs for containers are installed on the deck. 7. Ships Equipment * 2 hydraulic bow anchor winches, * 2 electric aft mooring winches, made by Yard * 1 hydraulic steering gear, with two pumps * 1 bowthruster with fixed pitch propeller 8. Equipment for Crew Accommodation will be provided for the total of 14 members of crew. Private, public and some duty rooms will be air conditioned. One ship owner appartement will be provided. 9. Main Power Drive The ship's main propelling machinery will consist of one non-reversable, standing, line, four-stroke marine diesel engine suitable to burn marine diesel oil coupled to one four bladed controlled pitch propeller. The maximum continuous output of the engine will be kW. 10. Electric Power Production The electric power production will consists of following engines: * 2 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 295 kW * 1 Pc. harbour and emergency diesel generator set of abt. 72 kW * 1 Pc. shaft generator of abt. 600 kW Supply and distribution systems allows the following options: 400 V/50 Hz AC, 230 V/50 Hz AC and 24 V DC. 11. Tonnage Measurement The tonnage measurement of the vessel according to the London Measurement Convention 1969 is about GT NT 13. Modification The modification shall comply with the usual experiences of the Yard and with the rules of the Classification Society.
