1. General The intent of this document together with the attached guidance General Arrangement is to describe the technical and functional features of the multipurpose platform supply and rescue vessel designed to labour transport and salvage works as well as fire extinquishing rescue works by off-shore operations. The vessel is designed for unlimited voyage. The vessel will be ready for sea and constructed in accordance with recognised shipbuilding practice and complying with the required Rules and Regulations. The Builder or Customer can reserve the right to adjust the capacity, size and power of the equipment due to the final project elaboration and balance calculations. 2. Classification The ship is built under the survey of Det Norske Veritas* and obtains the class: DnV X 1A1 Standby - Supply Vessel SF, Fire Fighter I and II, AUTR, E0, ICE C, LFL*, HELDK-SH, CRANE, CLEAN, TMON, PMS, ISM /* or similar classification society and obtains similar class 3. General Description The vessel is built according to the General Arrangement Nr. MD109-019.01-01. Vessel has a diesel-electric drive. The propulsion is realised by two Rudderpropeller SCD propulsion units driven by two semi vertical electromotors. The main drive-engines room is located at the aft of the vessel. The main electricity power of the wessel is covered by two dieselelectric units driven by medium speed diesel engines of performance 2550 kW each. The main engines room is located at the fore part of the vessel. The vessel has in the whole length one tanktop deck , platform deck, main deck, double bottom in area of main engine room. The superstructure with the duty and accomodation spaces and bridge is located in the front part of the vessel. In fore part of the vessel in front of the superstucture is located a platform for helicopter. The vessel is equipped vith good outfitted hospital with surgery operating room, X-ray room, laboratory e.t.c. what allowes to take intensive care for about 10 people. In fore part of the vessel is situated Pullman seats room which can give a shelter for 36 sitting people. 5. Hull The hull and superstructure are of steel welded construction, with frame-spacing 600 mm on whole length of the vessel. The hull is protected with steel fenders. Equipment for Crew Accommodation will be provided for the 12 members of basic crew of the ship in single cabins and 52 members of transferred personal or rescued people in single, two men cabins and Pullman seats room. Private, public and some duty rooms will be air conditioned. 8. Main Power Drive The ship's main propelling machinery consist of two asynchronical watercooled electromotors. Diameter of propellers 2850 mm. The maximum continuous output of the electromotors will be 2 x 2000 kW. The main generators will be driven by standing, 6 cylinder, line, four-stroke, medium speed marine diesel engines, in parallel operation, suitable to burn marine diesel oil. Output 2550 kW each. 9. Electric Power Production The electric power production will consists of following engines: * 2 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 3150 kVA * 2 Pcs. diesel generator sets each of abt. 130 kVA * 1 Pc. harbour and emergency diesel generator set of abt. 70 kVA Supply and distribution systems allows the following options: 400 V/50 Hz AC, 230 V/50 Hz AC and 24 V DC. 10. Modification The modification shall comply with the usual experiences of the Yard, shipbuilding and with the rules of the Classification Society. For the details, which are not specially prescribed in those rules, will be used the standards of ISO and design standards of the Yard.
